Premium subscription pricing
- Monthly subscription: €3.99 per month.
- Annual subscription: €33.49 per year.
Prices in euros. VAT not applicable, Article 293 B of the French General Tax Code (small-business exemption): the prices shown are net, with no VAT. The applicable price is the one displayed at the time of order. The Seller may change prices; ongoing subscriptions are not affected before renewal.
4. Order and payment
Orders are placed online. On the web, card payment is processed by our secure provider Stripe; the Seller never has access to your full card details. In the Android app, the purchase and payment are handled by Google Play (Google) under Google's terms; the Seller receives no card details. In both cases, the order is confirmed once payment is validated and access to premium features opens immediately.
5. Right of withdrawal
In principle, you have 14 days to withdraw from a distance purchase (Art. L221-18 of the French Consumer Code), without giving reasons.
Waiver for immediate performance
The subscription gives immediate access to a digital service/content. By subscribing, you expressly request immediate performance and acknowledge losing your right of withdrawal once the service is fully performed, in accordance with Article L221-28 of the French Consumer Code. If performance began before the end of the period at your request and you withdraw, an amount proportionate to the service already provided may be due.
To exercise your right of withdrawal where it applies, send an unambiguous request to contact.pocket.trotter@gmail.com. You may use the model below.
For a subscription taken out via Google Play, refund requests may also be handled through Google Play's procedure; your statutory rights above remain unchanged.
Model withdrawal form
“To Pocket Trotter (contact.pocket.trotter@gmail.com): I hereby give notice of my withdrawal from the contract for the premium subscription below — Ordered on: … — Name: … — Account email: … — Date: …”
6. Term, renewal and cancellation
The subscription is taken out for the chosen term (monthly or annual) and renews automatically for an identical term unless cancelled.
In accordance with Articles L215-1 et seq. of the French Consumer Code (information on renewal), you may stop the renewal at any time.
Simple, online cancellation
- Cancellation possible at any time from your account (in accordance with Article L215-1-1 of the French Consumer Code).
- Subscription taken out via Google Play: management and cancellation are done in the Play Store (Account > Payments & subscriptions > Subscriptions).
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
- You keep access to premium features until the term ends.
- No pro-rata refund for the period started, except as provided in point 7.
7. Warranties and refunds
You benefit from the statutory warranty of conformity for digital content and services (Articles L224-25-1 et seq. of the French Consumer Code): the service must match its description and work throughout the subscription period. In the event of non-conformity, you may obtain it being brought into conformity or, failing that, a price reduction or contract termination.
- Major malfunction attributable to the Seller: refund proportionate to the unusable period.
- Special situations: examined case by case, without prejudice to your statutory rights.
8. Liability
The Seller provides a quality service but does not guarantee the absolute accuracy of map and weather data, nor uninterrupted availability. The user remains responsible for their route choices and safety (see terms of use). These provisions do not limit the mandatory statutory warranties.
9. Consumer mediation
In accordance with Article L612-1 of the French Consumer Code, after a prior written complaint to the Seller that has not received a satisfactory reply, you may use a consumer mediator free of charge. The details of the competent mediator can be obtained by writing to contact.pocket.trotter@gmail.com.
10. Data protection
The processing of your data is described in the privacy policy, compliant with the GDPR.
11. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by French law. If you are a consumer residing in the European Union, you also benefit from the mandatory protective provisions of your country of residence and may bring proceedings before its competent courts.
